Pearson Student Readiness Tool (SRT)
Pearson's Student Readiness Tool (SRT) promises to bring updated, user-focused training, and support to educators and students for back-to-school. In its first year, the SRT gained over 500,000 visits across four programs.
The SRT organizes over 200 TestNav tool, item type, and test support lessons into an easily accessible format by grade and category.
Videos lessons and interactive practice items are embedded directly into the TestNav user interface (UI) to provide students a hands-on experience with the tool, item, or test support in the actual test environment. This way, students know exactly how to find and use them during their TestNav test.
The SRT was built with feedback from focus groups comprised of school administrators, teachers, Pearson staff, and students. Each group completed multiple reviews of SRT prototypes throughout the development cycle. We are open to feedback and continually improving the SRT. Specifically, we are looking for feedback that would benefit all SRT users.
