What is happening?

Chrome version 154 and later breaks equation editor items for Smarter Balanced because Google is withdrawing support for XSLT processing which is required by the current implementation of the equation editor.  

What does this mean?

Any device that is running Chrome version 154 or later will not be able to use equation editor for testing. 

What do I do (and how do I do it)?

Devices running Chrome version 154 or later will need to be reverted (using power wash) to Chrome version 153. This issue will be fixed by a patch to TestNav on the night of October 16th, 2026.
