Assessments are administered by ADAM users with various roles. The most common roles are listed below, but the term and permissions for those roles may vary by program.
For the purposes of training and online support, topics are related to each applicable role.
Role | Description |
---|
District Test Administrators (DTAs) | DTAs have higher-level Administrator permissions within ADAM. DTCs with permission to change student accommodations can do so by selecting Rostering > Users within the ADAM main menu. They access test administrations through Test Management > Administrations within the ADAM main menu. |
---|
School Testing Coordinators (STCs) | STCs have lower-level Administrator permissions within ADAM. They can access multiple test administrations and have more broad visibility within test administration data and reports. STCs access test administrations through Test Management > Administrations within the ADAM main menu. STCs might also have permission to change student accommodations. |
---|
Proctors/Teachers | Proctors typically have Teacher role permissions within ADAM. This means that what you see within the ADAM UI might be limited to your own assigned classes or test administrations. Upon log in, users typically navigate from the My Classes page. |
---|
Proctors without ADAM login credentials | Some proctors will not log in to ADAM to proctor a test. If a user is designated to proctor without logging in, an STC should provide that proctor a Test Code and Proctor Password. |
