Users with the ability to create groups can also hide and delete groups. 'Hide Inactive is a toggle to hide any proctor groups that are currently set to inactive status.
Navigate to Test Management > Administrations > Proctor Groups (View) to access options.

Hide a Proctor Group
Use the Hide Empty Groups and Hide Inactive Groups filters to simplify the proctor group list and focus on groups that require attention.
Hide Empty Groups
- Select Hide Empty Groups to hide proctor groups that do not contain any students.
- Clear the checkbox to display all proctor groups, including empty groups.
Hide Inactive Groups
- Select Hide Inactive Groups to hide proctor groups that are marked as inactive.
- Clear the checkbox to display both active and inactive groups.
Using the Filters
- Open the Filter panel on the left side of the page.
- Select one or both filter options:
- Hide Empty Groups
- Hide Inactive Groups
- The proctor group list updates to display only groups that match the selected criteria.
- Clear the checkboxes at any time to return to the full list of groups.
Helpful Tips
- Use Hide Empty Groups when reviewing active testing groups and student assignments.
- Use Hide Inactive Groups to focus on groups currently being used for testing.
- Both filters can be selected together to view only active groups that contain students.

Delete A Proctor Group
Use the Delete option to permanently remove a proctor group that is no longer needed.
The Delete option is only available when a proctor group has no students assigned. Hide Empty is a toggle to view all groups or only those with students.

- Locate the proctor group you want to remove.
- Select the Actions menu (three dots) for that proctor group.
- Choose Delete from the menu.
- Review the confirmation message.
- Confirm the deletion to remove the proctor group.
Before Deleting
- Verify that the proctor group is no longer needed.
- Consider moving any assigned students to another proctor group before deleting.
- Empty groups can typically be identified using the Students column, which displays the number of assigned students.
Helpful Tips
- Use Hide Empty Groups and Hide Inactive Groups to quickly identify groups that may be candidates for removal.
- Deleted proctor groups will no longer appear in the proctor group list.
- If you only need to stop using a group temporarily, consider whether marking it inactive is more appropriate than deleting it.
