Drawing Interaction

Students are able to draw, color, and add text to an item using the drawing interaction. Creators can add a prompt, change the background image, and add or remove available colors. Students can choose from the various tools, color and line thickness as well as undo, redo and clear the canvas.

Create a Drawing Interaction

1. From the Editor tab, select Add Interaction > Open Response > Drawing.
2. Enter a Prompt.
3. In the Drawing Canvas, you can browse and upload a background image.
4. In formatting, select the Plus icon to add additional colors as needed.
5. In Score Settings, set the max points to be awarded for the item. 

Scoring Settings

In Scoring Settings tab, select Manual Scoring, and add scoring Traits to score students across multiple traits. See also: Set Up Manual Scoring, Set Up Partial Scoring.

Undo & Redo

Student can undo the previous action without having to manually erase or clear the canvas. Undo and Redo buttons are available in the upper right-hand corner of the canvas.
