This interaction allows testers to extract specific text segments from passages during assessments. 

Create a Text Extraction Interaction

1. Navigate to AD Authoring > Items > Create New.
2. From the Editor tab, select Add Interaction > Match& Order > Text Extraction Interaction.
3. Create a passage in the interaction Text area or insert a pre-existing passage by selecting Insert Passage.
4. Once the passage is in the Text area, create extractable text elements by highlighting certain words in the text and selecting Insert Extractable Text.  

On preview the interaction displays in a split-screen layout. Users see the available options outlined in blue in the passage and can click and drag to the target. Once used, the extracted text will turn a solid blue.
