PS1200s localstudents.csv File Errors

Error codes below relate to local .csv files.

These error codes apply to either the Pearson Standard local .csv or the OneRoster local .csv file.

Error code	Error message	Additional info and instruction After completing any of the actions below, you must re-save and upload the .zip file again.
PS1200	Error: File Not Loaded - CSV file is empty	The .csv file does not contain data. Open the file locally, resave and then re-import in Pearson Access.
PS1201	Error: File Not Loaded - The Local Students file you are trying to import is not a valid csv file type.	Pearson Access only allows .csv format for local imports. Resave your file in .csv and re-import. If you need assistance with this contact Pearson customer support.
PS1202	Error: Record not Loaded - Unexpected Header Included or is Missing	Review the error details, update the file and re-import for your file. If you continue to have issues, login to Pearson Access, navigate to Students and then select Import Students tab. Click on the "here" link to download a template for the local students file. Compare this to the file you imported. Make the appropriate updates to the header in your file and re-import.

PS1204	Error: Record Not Loaded - A required demographic header is missing. Refer to your file layout or download a student import template from Pearson Access for demographics.	Review the error details, update the file and re-import for your file. If you continue to have issues, login to Pearson Access, navigate to Students and then select Import Students tab. Click on the "here" link to download a template for the local students file. Compare this to the file you imported. Make the appropriate updates to the header in your file and re-import.
PS1205	Error: Record Not Loaded - A required Accommodation header is not present. Refer to you file layout or the student import template in Pearson Access for values.	Review the error details, update the file and re-import for your file. If you continue to have issues, login to Pearson Access, navigate to Students and then select Import Students tab. Click on the "here" link to download a template for the local students file. Compare this to the file you imported. Make the appropriate updates to the header in your file and re-import.
PS1206	Error: Record not Loaded - Unexpected Header Included or is Missing	Review the error details, update the file and re-import for your file. If you continue to have issues, login to Pearson Access, navigate to Students and then select Import Students tab. Click on the "here" link to download a template for the local students file. Compare this to the file you imported. Make the appropriate updates to the header in your file and re-import.
PS1220	Error: Record Not Loaded: Required field, customerCode, is missing, if you do not know your customer code contact Pearson.	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1221	Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, orgCode, is missing.	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1222	Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, studentID, is missing	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1223	Error: Record Not Loaded -Required field, firstName, is missing	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1224	Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, lastName, is missing	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1225	Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, dateOfBirth is missing	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1226	Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, enrolledGrade is missing.	A required field is missing, update the record with the required field and re-import.
PS1250	Error: Record Not Loaded - This student does not exist in Pearson Access, use "I" for the updateIndicator to insert the student.	To add a student with the local students import file, an "I" or a "U" in the updateIndicator field.
PS1251	Error: Record Not Loaded - Invalid Data for customerCode, if you do not know your customer code contact Pearson.	The Customer Code in the file is invalid, update with the appropriate code.
PS1252	Error: Record Not Loaded - Invalid data type for org code.	This error appears when a student within the localstudents.csv file already exists within the organization. Therefore, the system cannot insert the student. Check the .csv file for students that already exist in the organization. If an existing student record does not require an update, remove it from the localstudents.csv. If the above does not apply, populate the Update Indicator column with a U to update the student record. This applies when: An existing student record requires an update OR You do not find the student in your organization records because the student has been marked for delete from your organization, but the delete has not fully processed within Pearson Access.
PS1253	Error: Record Not Loaded - You Cannot make more than 1 change to firstName, lastName, or birthDate in a single record. You will need to import 3 files for each change.	Matching logic prevents only one of the core student fields from being updated at once. If you need to update more than one, you will need to do this with subsequent imports that only have one change in them for these fields at a time.
PS1254	Error: Record Not Loaded - Cannot delete a record with mismatched firstName, lastName, or birthDate
PS1255	Error: Record Not Loaded - Student not found	The student you are attempting to update does not exist in the system. If you are attempting to create the student use an "I" or a "U" in the updateIndicator field to insert the student.
PS1256	Error: You do not have permission to update students in the organization in this record.	The student you are attempting to make changes to, is associated to an organization/school that you do not have permissions to change. Contact your local Admin to request role and permission updates for this organization or update the record with an organization that you have permission to update.
PS1263	Error: Record Not Loaded - Invalid value for Demographic field, verify valid values for your demographics.	Review the error details in the error.csv file and make the appropriate updates to your file and re-import.
PS1267	ERROR: Student ID contains string 'temp'	"TEMP", "Temp", "temp" or any variation is reserved by the system and is not allowed to be included when creating a local student. Remove this string and re-import.
PS1268	Invalid Data - The student you are attempting to update or delete exists in Pearson Access, but is not enrolled to associated school in the file. Please update the school code in the file to an enrolled school and re-import.	Follow the instructions in the error message.
